Your Questions, Answered

You don’t have to be in crisis to benefit from therapy. Many people reach out because they’re feeling overwhelmed, navigating a life transition, struggling with stress, or anxiety, or simply wanting a space to better understand themselves. If something has been weighing on you, therapy can be a helpful place to start.
-
The first session is simply a conversation. We will talk about what’s bringing you in, what’s been feeling difficult, and what you’d like to get out of therapy. My goal is for you to leave feeling heard, supported, and with a clearer idea of where we’ll go together.
-
That’s completely okay. Many of my clients are new to therapy. You don’t need to know exactly what to say or have everything figured out before you begin. We’ll take it one step at a time.
-
Yes. All sessions are conducted virtually through a secure, HIPAA-compliant telehealth platform, allowing you to attend therapy from anywhere in Florida.
-
The Bridge Counseling & Wellness is a private-pay practice and does not currently accept insurance. This allows sessions to remain personalized, confidential, and focused entirely on your goals rather than insurance requirements.
-
The Bridge Counseling & Wellness is not a crisis service. If you are experiencing a mental health emergency or are concerned about your immediate safety, call 911, go to your nearest emergency room, or contact 988, the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline.

The length of therapy depends on your goals and individual needs. Some clients benefit from short-term, solution-focused work, while others prefer ongoing support as they navigate life transitions. We'll regularly review your progress and adjust our plan together.
